Inspired by a poem!

Hi there
Enjoying your summer?  I've been enjoying sitting in my garden reading in the sunshine - in my dreams! and whilst we're on the subject thanks for all your summery boat and water entries last week. They were totally fantabulous!

The winner of the challenge this week is
Number 13

congratulations Von, if you fancy having a go as a guest designer get in touch via the email address.

It wasn't all a dream though, In between visiting your blogs I did get time to do some reading not cheesy novels but real reading - poetry!  I love using poetry as inspiration for my artwork and I wondered how many more poems there are out there that could inspire creativity, so that's the challenge for this week. Use a poem to inspire your crafting. As usual you can create anything you wish, with any stash as long as it has reference to a poem

Here's mine
Inspired by a poem by Walter De La Mare

Amazing are they not. I've just got such talented teamies, no matter how weird a challenge I set they keep coming up with THE most imaginative samples.

Hope this one gets your imagination going, looking forward to seeing what poems you come up with.
Have Fun

This weeks theme - Sunshine - and boy do we need the sun back :0)

When I dreamt up this theme I had the image of sunny days in the garden, sipping mint tea and inhaling the sweet smell of my newly planted flowers ......... ha ha! it really was a dream! Instead I think we have had dull cloudy days with downpours so heavy that we still have a water shortage because it has moved downstream too fast to fill up the reservoirs!!

Still we can live in hope of an Indian summer!

Despite all that I hope you're enjoying the summer and to give you a taste of what we have in store for the rest of August (more dreams!) here's the inspiration from the team

So if you're in need of some sunshine, make up a sunny project and let us come and bask in the rays of your talent. You've been entering some truly wonderful work lately and it's been a joy to see how everyone's work has developed.

When we started Tuesday Taggers we wanted to encourage everyone, whatever your skill level, just to have a go and enjoy yourselves and week after week you thrill us with your entries.

Here's a little task for you, look back at the first project you entered in the challenge and then look at the work you produce now. Can you see what we see? The work you do just gets better and better!

Just what we hoped for!

Big smiles and gentle thoughts

x Michelle
